D.E.A.C. Allies: Special Topics

  1. Thursday, October 14th, 20212:00pm - 3:00pm

D.E.A.C. (Developing Empowering and Affirming Communities) Allies is a workshop series designed to build participants' knowledge and skills through a scaffolded learning approach. Workshops are designed to deepen knowledge around topics of sexual orientation and gender, and to equip participants with skills for building intentionally inclusive communities that welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

D.E.A.C. Allies: Special Topics sessions are workshops that are offered on a one-time or limited time basis and offer a deep dive into specific identities, intersections, skills, and experiences. Special topics are open to anyone, regardless of previous experience in D.E.A.C. Allies workshops (though attendance of the LGBTQ+ 101 workshop is recommended in order to make the most of your special topic experience). The class listing will contain more information about the topic for the workshop.
