Wellbeing Incentive One-on-One Health Coaching

The 2019 Wellbeing Program is offering a $150 wellbeing incentive to faculty and staff enrolled in the University’s BlueCross BlueShield medical plan. One of the steps is to complete a full coaching session (or two wellbeing classes).

Eligible faculty and staff enrolled in the BlueCross BlueShield medical plan participating in the 2019 Wellbeing Program may sign up for a One-on-One Health Coaching session through October 31, 2019. The session will include the following:

  • Reviewing health risk factors and recent medical activity
  • Developing and monitoring short and long term goals
  • Assessing recent health behaviors and stages of change

These sessions are provided by Wake Forest Baptist Health coaches who have obtained health coaching credentials through the Wellcoaches School of Coaching (Certified Wellcoach; National Board Certified-health & Wellness Coach). They are trained in areas of health and wellness such as, quitting tobacco, weight loss, increasing physical activity, nutrition/diet, cholesterol management, hypertension prevention & management, diabetes prevention & management, and stress management.  Flexible dates and times are available upon request.
