The Women's Center series "Gender Equity at Work" is a new professional development suite that 1.) builds participants' critical eye for recognizing how gender norms and expectations show up in the workplace and why it matters; and 2.) develops participants' skills to better advocate for themselves and others in ways that support women and promote gender equity at work.
"Gender Equity at Work: for Managers" focuses on building managers' capacity to promote gender equity on their teams and in their 1:1 work with their staff. Managers will build awareness about workplace norms, explore how gender expectations can shape workplace norms, and identify strategies to support their leadership growth in this area.
