ETDs (electronic theses & dissertations) present different intellectual property and accessibility issues for graduate student authors than print-based versions. This session will address common copyright, author rights, embargo, and access questions that arise when students submit their ETDs. The ETD Administrator system will be demonstrated, with emphasis on embargo, registration, and print copy issues. As the Graduate School and university libraries require ETD submission, all graduate students are encouraged to attend this session near time of thesis or dissertation submission.
