Teaching with the Socratic Method
Monday, February 15th, 2010
3:00pm - 4:00pm
Ever wondered about employing a Socratic style in your teaching? The panelists in this program will briefly discuss what it means to teach "Socratically," the joys and sorrows of such a method, and the demands it puts on the instructor who employs it in contrast to a lecture style of teaching. We plan to open up the discussion and elicit the views of others who attend about their experience and thoughts on teaching Socratically.
Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 10. Light refreshments will be available.
