History of Wake Forest, Part II, 1905-1968

This is the second of a three part series. You may choose to attend one or all sessions, depending on your interests. Significant individuals include William Louis Poteat, Thurman Kitchin, Harold Tribble and others. The course will also cover:  

   * Evolution and social reform, the Great Depression, campus fires,    * Med School and Law School progress and problems.    * World War II and the admission of women    * How did WF become a charter member of the ACC?    * The move and development of the new campus    * Why did WS invite WF?    * Why did WF accept?    * WF and Baptists, a troubled relationship. Why?    * Resumption of graduate programs    * When and how did WF become a University?
